Bell's Pale Ale Gets Minor Facelift

I was recently caught off guard when i saw a "new" Bell's beer in my local depot.  As a huge fan and drinker of Bell's, it's rare that i see something from them that i haven't previously.  Upon further investigation, i've come to find out that Bell's Pale Ale got a facelift and a minor ingredient change.

Midwestern Pale Ale will now be brewed with a small portion of barley from the Bell’s Farm with the new label featuring a painting of the Bell's Farm by a local artist, Conrad Kaufman.

“This is a relatively minor change to the recipe and people won’t notice anything different, however its part of a much larger picture,” said Laura Bell, Marketing Director for Bell’s Brewery, Inc.

This isn't the only brew getting barley from the farm, the Christmas Ale and Harvest Ale, already brewed with hops from Michigan, will now be seeing the infusion as well.
